Bagalamukhi Devi is said to ride upon the back of a crane, wearing yellow apparels, ornaments and holding a cudgel in one hand while she grabs a demon's tongue with the other. Some iconographies picture her sitting on a throne or on a dead body of a demon, holding a mace and grabbing a demon's tongue, stopping his speech forever.
